She received her Bachelor of Science in biology at Texas A&M University in College Station in 2014 and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) in 2017 at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2020, Emily helped care for patients at Deer Park Family Clinic. Joined Kelsey-Seybold: January 2020 Hobbies & Interests Emily enjoys jogging and “true crime anything.”Fun FactsEmily says she can be impatient when pursuing a goal that she wants to achieve, so some of the best advice she’s received is to remember that “big changes take patience and perseverance.”Something that many people don’t know about Emily is that as a student at Texas A&M, she worked in the genetics lab where she took care of over 300 monarch butterflies, feeding them, assisting in husbandry, and keeping data points on phenotype.As a kid, she wanted to be a nautical archeologist when she grew up and attended Texas A&M for archeology and anthropology because of her interest in history and love of learning about other cultures. Beth Hodges is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 1984 from Boston University. She also earned her Master of Social Work in 1992 and her Master of Public Health in 1993 from Boston University. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in October 2021, Beth practiced social work at medical facilities throughout the Greater Houston area.
